Client goals and challenges
Redesign the site while preserving its markers for existing users, and clarify the two distinct uses (public consultation vs academic research).
User goals and challenges
Explore a dense body of documentation without getting lost, and be able to find its resources in an organized manner.
User journey
The hierarchy clearly distinguishes two fronts: a more narrative public site and a more research-oriented academic site. The advanced search constitutes the heart of the experience, with a modular interface, a tagging logic, dynamic filters, a summary phrase, and saving options. The personal space allows users to organize their articles via a folder system and find their saved research. Finally, the subscription process is marked by a segmented landing page according to the types of audiences (students, teachers, etc.).
Key moments and decisions
The critical blocks are research (the main entry point), the user dashboard (with favorites and history), and reading (progress gauge and chaptering). Each has been designed as a response to specific needs: efficiency, organization, and engagement.
Key features
The search system integrates a level of functionality rarely achieved on a public site. The personal space offers a detailed organization of resources, and the reading aids (gauge, chapters) enhance the ability to navigate through long articles. The subscription landing page adheres to best practices with explicit guarantees, tailored offers, and a clear promise.
User tests and validation
The tests were conducted internally. The construction is based on a cross-analysis of the expectations of the academic public and occasional users, with a focus on functional accessibility.
